This project series demonstrates the setup and use of a Type 1 hypervisor to build a virtualized infrastructure for services and systems deployment. It covers bare-metal installation, virtual machine and container creation, cluster configuration across multiple nodes, and network-level services such as DNS filtering using Pi-hole. The environment was configured entirely through a Type 1 hypervisor interface, showcasing practical skills in virtualization, resource optimization, and systems management.
Tools used: Proxmox VE (Type 1 Hypervisor), Ubuntu Server, Debian Containers, QEMU, balenaEtcher, UFW, Intel NUC, DNS Services (Pi-hole), Web-based VM Management Interface, Cluster Networking (Corosync)
